After graduating from the Academy of Arts in Belgrade with major in cinematography, I received my master's degree in cinematography at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade and became a member of the Association of Film Artists of Serbia.

I have been working at the Academy of Arts in Belgrade since 2017, as a teaching assistant on Photography and Cinematography BA course.

I made my first steps in the filmmaking world at the age of ten when I directed my first award-winning short documentary titled
“…When You Eat Meat and When You Eat Pie…”.

Background in directing allowed me to have more understanding of its technical aspects (principles of montage, rhythm, blocking…),
but also the art of storytelling. Furthermore, it helped me create better communication with directors.

I truly believe that every story requires different styles and approaches, and I tend to develop them alongside the director.

 

As cinematographer and camera operator I worked on a wide range of film and television productions, focusing on narrative and documentary.

 

I am someone who contributes creativity and fresh point of view to directors vision. I am also reliable, quick-thinker, problem-solver who will bring positive energy and good atmosphere on set.

I was recently selected for the 2022-2023 ASC Vision Mentorship program by the American Society of Cinematographers, where I was paired with director of photography Cathal Watters ASC, ISC as my mentor.
